Lithuanian Summer Picnic*:

Rooster Rock State Park
I-84, 22 mi. East of Portland (exit 25),  located along the Columbia River

Bring a pot luck dish and drink, blankets (not sure if we will have tables), lawn chairs and towels if you are going swimming. This year we do not have a reservation so we will find a location as we arrive. If anyone is willing to get there before 12:00 and try to find some tables let me know (360-834-6988 or 605-2258). All others look for the Lithuanian flag or yellow/red/green colors.

* Piknikas [angl. picnic] - iškyla į užmiestį ar parką, dažniausiai su užkandžiais ir tam tikromis pramogomis. Sėkmingo pikniko paslaptis - paprastumas, planavimas ir reikalingų daiktų susipakavimas. Pasiruošimas išvykai į gamtą neturi reikalauti pernelyg daug energijos ar laiko - tai turi būti greita ir paprasta.
